My Day. By Porter - April 8, 2010

Hi Aussieboarders. I'm Porter, but sometimes my real momma and poppa call me The Brat. My other momma calls me Porter Piddle Pants, but I dont' think that's very nice, sometimes little boys can't control their piddle, and I mean if you're already piddling on the floor cause you're a little bit scared, why not just finish the job? Sometimes she just calls me Pants.Today, my momma said that we got to have a fun day together! Yay! I thoughted that musta meant that we were gonna go play with my bruther Jasper. But nope, she packed up my little daytime kennel and put it in the van. I tried to tell my poppa Argus that I didn't want to go in the van, but he doesn't get it, he LOVES the van.Anyways, we get in the van, and off we go to momma's work. She puts me in another van and tells me that she hopes I don't get sick. Hmm, I dunno what sick is, but I hadn't found it yet.She says it's a beyoutiful day to drive to the wet coast, um, I mean, west coast.

Did I mention I don't really like going in the car? I tried to sleep. I tried to sit. I tried to look out the...oh uh, um, momm....URP. Sorry momma, microwaved breakfast. Don't worry I cleaned it up for momma, she was driving. The roads to this wet coast place are not ideal for a puppy who doesnt' like to travel. Sometimes we were going up, sometimes we were going down, sometimes around a corner, and sometimes all at the same time! It's really twisty and bumpy and momma says it's okay that I urped becuase everyone does on their first time over. So, I tried to sleep. I slept for a bit and then the road got really twisty again and I urped again. But, being a good puppy, I cleaned it all up again.FINALLY we get to a place momma called The Health Unit. I don't know what kinda town The Health Unit is, but it must be pretty special to go through all that to get there. Momma disappeared for a bit and left me in my crate in the van and I finally had a good sleep and got my tummy settled. After she was all done we finally got to the fun part (never thought it was commin did ya...me neither). We went to the beech! I dunno what a beech is, but it was big and squishy under my feet and wet. All kindsa neato smells. I'm used to having the big dogs with me, so I wasn't too adventursome, but I liked it. It was pretty stormy when we got there, adn raining everywhere.

Isn't it pretty? It rained and rained and I told momma that she was just getting pics of a black blob on the sand, but she said that we could call it the sill-o-ett look.

I explored...

And looked around...

...and off into the distance.

I really wanted to play with these people cause playing in water is fun. But momma said there is a really bad under toe and I have enough toes under me that I stayed away. I wonder what happens when one of them is bad!?

I treasure hunted.

I ran to momma FAST every time she called. She said I'm a good puppy.

Every SINGLE time!

I explored some more.

I posed for pictures.

I stared into the camera.

I ran after....

...and killed rocks.

I climed a mountain. Momma said to look cute, I think I am, she thinks I look miserable. To be honest, my tummy still wasn't right and I urped in the ocean too.

I conkered the beach. (the sill-o-ett look again).

And adorable me.

my werewolf hairdo.

Bye beech! Momma says we're coming back, ALL of us in a couple weeks.
